The Best Thrift Stores In Vancouver

As it it my mission to locate the cream of the crop thrift stores in Vancouver, my friend and I set out for a shoot last week and found some pretty great ones! (of course with great prices to). Thrifting is absolutely one of my favourite things to do so I hope you guys enjoy a list of Vancouver’s finest and go check them out!

Later on I’ll be posting my finds from the stores listed.

  1. F AS IN FRANK: My absolute go-to! From DVF to Tommy Hilfiger , F as in Frank embraces the 80’s, 90’s and hip-hop culture. The store began in Whistler by two brothers whose Father owned a Vintage store. He past on the torch to his two sons and they blew it up in Vancouver and online. You’ll find your original favorites here from Guess to CK and Tommy. Not to mention The Rag Machine; their secret back store with lots of gems to search for.

2. FRONT AND COMPANY: Started in 1993, F & C has a mix of designer, vintage and a section of just Aritzia! I love the mix of used and new along with their collection of elegant and quirky accessories, plus the place has excellent customer service with great style advice. Perfect for anyone who wants a crisp and clean look!

3. C’EST LA VIE BOUTIQUE: One of the cutest thrift stores ever! It has a classic hollywood glamour to it with a blend of international cultures. C’est la Vie was started 14 years ago when the owner, who moved from France, worked at a consignment store and started her own, now with plans to add a new store in Vancouver! I love the clothing here because of their Parisian chic essence and unique accessories from as far away as Turkey.

4. TURNABOUT:  With 3 different locations it’s you’re go-to thrift store. I visited the one on Balaclava that I found had a bit of a classy style but overall casual and affordable. The second store is located on Main St. which has a more young and edgy feel to it. The third is on Granville and has more of the higher-end and designer wear. With this brand there’s a store for everyone.
